Chef Treephawan grew up in southern Thailand, in the city of Hat Yai, where she studied hotel management. After taking the time to travel throughout Asia, she eventually came to New York at the age of 24 to pursue professional ambitions. In 2002, Chef Treephawan transitioned into working as personal chef for film producer Jeffrey Levy Hinte, and later for a number of families and celebrities, among them Julianne Moore and husband Bart Freundlich and for legendary director Martin Scorcese and family. As a dedicated chef, Chef Treephawan exquisitely characterizes and brings out the best from each of her choice flavors. She cooks European and Asian cuisines, specializing in Thai.
